I Hate Math

Math,
The devil’s language,
How do mathematicians stay alive?
Did they sell their soul for massive brains?
Why is Math so hard?

Polygons turn around,
Numbers jumping up and down,
“You’re eighth graders now!” Teacher said to us,
But I still suffer the wrath of Math.

X and Y substitute each other,
Figures transform into another,
Designs reflect, rotate, and translate,
My answer is: “I don’t get it!”

Math,
A foreign language,
I’m not eager to learn,
Math,
Why do you tease me?
Am I a pawn in your wicked game?

Help me anyone,
I need to be rescued,
From being shrunken,
Or stretched.

Math… I despise you!
