“You can never be forgotten, you merely forget,” Dad said to me after hearing about Heather’s death. However, I was stubborn not to listen because I did not like to remember the painful yet joyful memories. Just today, I shouted at Mama because we had to go to Heather’s funeral. I did not want to remember anything about my sister. At that moment, a tear fell from my eye despite my efforts to act manly.
The woods seemed quite today as if they were respecting my sister’s death. The birds were silent and the only sounds came from my bike wheels splashing against the puddles. As I came near Lake Synza, I spat at it fiercely because that mossy, disgraceful lake drowned my sister. “Why must you leave me before I enter Middle School? I will be the kid they feel sorry for, but not the kid they praise for actually doing something right!” I shouted to kill the silence. Just then, a figure appeared behind the trees. “Who are you?” I asked curiously. It stayed quiet so I reckoned it could be a wolf. As I was wondering about the mysterious figure, it ran away. I cycled as fast as Lance Armstrong so I could catch up with it, but it was moving too quickly. “Wait up! I want to know you!” I shouted.
The figure led me through the twists and turns of the thick woods. I almost lost my balance as I accidentally rode over a tree root. At the last turn, the figure vanished into thin air. “Where are you? You can not hide from me,” I gloated to the empty woods. Suddenly, my whole body felt like it has been squashed between two elephants. Then, my legs shrank two-thirds of its size and my ears felt pressed into my brain. The next thing I know, I was dragged into a vortex, like the ones you see in Star Trek. I closed my eyes so I would not be blinded by flashing lights. I felt like I was floating on a cloud because there was no gravity. “Ouch!” I yelped as I suddenly hit the hard ground. I opened my eyes and, to my surprise, the figure laid motionless on the ground. I panicked for I must have killed it. Uncle Jeremiah told me that if we accidentally killed someone, we should walk away. I ignored Uncle Jeremiah’s rule by crawling towards the figure so I could check its pulse. However, the figure stood up and it turned out to be a girl. As she straightened up, I saw that her hair was as dark as a raven and eyes that are dark brown like the color of Cadbury’s chocolate bar. Her face radiated a happy glow as she saw me. Right then, my mouth dropped wide open for I knew who it was. “Cover your mouth, Elias. Remember that flies love to breed inside humans,” she joked.
“Heather, is that really you?” I asked still in a daze.
“Of course it’s me! Who do you think I am, Santa?” she said smirking.
“You drowned, how can you still be alive?”“Esteban, we are not on Earth!”“Where are we then - Heaven?”
“Far from it, they wouldn’t accept me until I teach you something,” she said in her typical bossy attitude. Suddenly, I felt chills running down my spine. The look on Heather’s face showed me that she knew.
“You still haven’t told me where we are,” I whined as we were walking down the foggy, grey road.
“This is the realm of the forgotten!” She boomed with her arms high up.
“The realm of the forgotten, they should have picked a better name,” I said sarcastically.
“Let me brief you on the most important rule, which is whatever you wish for will come true. However, you may only wish for inanimate objects,” Heather said wagging her finger like Mama.
“That seems easy enough to follow.”
“But be warned, not all things you wish for are real. You have to trust your heart or you could be in deep trouble.” I can see that Heather’s eyes were not the same anymore; they rolled until the pupils were not visible. I backed away from Heather and fell in a pile of thick drool. Heather’s eyes returned to normal and she came closer with a towel to wipe it. However, the drool burnt my skin and vanished. Chills ran down my spine again, and I knew that I was bait for something worse.
As we walked, an awkward silence had befallen us as if Heather knew what was happening. “AWOOOOGAHGAH!” Screeched a voice that sounded raspy.“It’s the Narreg!” She shouted in fright. “Actually, you are not supposed to be here because you are not dead yet but I defied the realm’s orders,” she panicked as she pushed me to run. “Elias, please go before it rips you to shreds! I don’t want you hurt,” Heather said with a worried look on her face.I ran quickly, hoping that the Narreg would not catch me. I saw the Narreg as it gained speed. Its face was hairy like a werewolf and fang as sharp as spears. The fur looked red from blood, while its eyes were the color of pus. Heather gave me the strength to run for safety. “Wish for a door,” Heather suggested as we arrived at a dead end. I closed my eyes, wishing hard for a door back to the living world. As the Narreg’s came closer, I could smell the foul odour from its saliva filled mouth, like rotting rats in sewer pipes. I hesitated to choose the right door but Heather’s voice guided me. I can smell the fowl stench of the Narreg. Suddenly, two doors pooped out in front of me. I hesitated to choose the right door but Heather’s words guided me. “Choose the door that your heart trusts,” Heather whispered in my ear. I visualized Mama and Dad along with the living things on Earth. Nevertheless, my heart tells me to trust door two but my mind told me that door one would be the key out. I tried again and this time door number two made my whole body tingled. Therefore, I opened the door and a gust of summer wind blew at my face.
Before I could set myself free, the Narreg grabbed my left foot. I kicked the Narreg in its face to knock it unconscious. Despite the failure, the Narreg bit my foot with its 3-inch fangs and blood started oozing out. “Yum, human blood!” Screeched the Narreg with delight as it sucked on my wound. Tears trickled down my face as the fangs seeped into my flesh. Heather appeared on the other side of the door, encouraging me to have the strength to get free. With my last pull, I was free but I had unleashed the Narreg into my world too. “You broke the rule, now pay with your bloody heart as I condemned you to Hell,” said the Narreg devilishly as it took out its claws.“Narreg, look above you,” Heather said pointing towards the full moon. At that moment, the Narreg changed from a ferocious lion to a timid pussycat.Moonbeams slashed through the Narreg like arrows and its face melted from the bright stars. With its last breath, the Narreg cackling, “One day, you will perish the revenged from the Narreg clan. Only then, your pitiful life would be vanquished.” I gulped. In an instant, the woods were filled with the sounds of chirping crickets. I looked at Heather to see if she had a glimmer of happiness. However, Heather seems to have a black cloud over her head. “Heather, what’s the matter?” I asked curiously.
“I have to go back, Elias. The angels have made their decisions and I’m going to Heaven,” she said smiling sadly. I wanted her to stay but my heart told me to let her go.
“Heather, go and pursue your dreams as an angel in Heaven. I will always be smiling at the sky for you,” I proudly said. Tears filled her eyes, while her smile warmed my heart.
“You can never be a sissy for missing me,” she told me as the moonbeam gracefully lifts her. As the wind swept her hair, a halo brightly formed on top of her straight, silky hair. She curled up in a ball, while her back formed a pair of light blue wings.
My sister has become an official angel and her last words were, “Don’t ever forget me.”
17 years later, I cycled in the woods with my kids, Heather and Kijiana. As we rode the same path I rode at 13, I thought about my sister. “I wish you could see them now; they would be running to your feet and calling you aunty,” I softly said to myself, hoping Heather would hear. Just then, Heather appeared behind the thick oak trees, glowing brightly at me. I smiled at her, showing my pride in my two little angels.
“Daddy, Kijiana cheated in the bike race! She went too fast and passed me!” Heather whined.
“I was merely trying to win but she is such a big baby. I won so there,” snubbed Kijiana.
“You two, Aunty Heather would be ashamed to see you fight,” I insured them.
“We’re sorry, we want to grow up brave like Aunty Heather,” they both said with admiration towards Heather.
“C’mon girls, let’s have a race to see who reaches mommy first,” I said with gusto.
As we started to pedal, a great wind pushed us forward and it seems as though we were flying into the sunset.
You can never be forgotten, you merely forget.

To Be Forgotten...

I Hate Math
Math,
The devil’s language,
How do mathematicians stay alive?
Did they sell their soul for massive brains?
Why is Math so hard?
Polygons turn around,
Numbers jumping up and down,
“You’re eighth graders now!” Teacher said to us,
But I still suffer the wrath of Math.
X and Y substitute each other,
Figures transform into another,
Designs reflect, rotate, and translate,
My answer is: “I don’t get it!”
Math,
A foreign language,
I’m not eager to learn,
Math,
Why do you tease me?
Am I a pawn in your wicked game?
Help me anyone,
I need to be rescued,
From being shrunken,
Or stretched.
Math… I despise you!

Mr. Hobo
On the New York City subway floor, a man, unnamed and untamed, curled up alone on his thin piece of cardboard. Business executives distanced themselves from the hobo, acting as though they were in danger of contracting poverty. My mother told me, “Never go near that filthy hobo, his putrid stench will stick to you.” One day, I gathered the courage to speak to him. Surprisingly enough, Mr. Hobo’s life story was not as decadent as people would have thought. In fact, he was a rich businessman living a high society life style. Unfortunately, Mr. Hobo had lost all of his money when his stock market crashed. His hopes and dreams vanished away into the sewers of New York City. One rainy September day, I found Mr. Hobo lying dead on the cold subway floor. Tears trickled down my eyes as I ran towards Mr. Hobo’s motionless body. After that incident, I would always remember what Mr. Hobo said, “Kid, you’ve got to keep on studying and never wind up like me!” As time passes by, I worked hard to achieve my goal and became very successful. I owe it all to you, Mr. Hobo.

Eco Wars
Born at the end of sunset and the beginning of night, I was left on Earth by my parents, the Moon and the Sun. My guardians were the creatures of Daisetsuzan National Park, Hokkaido, Japan. My past erased itself from my mind and my tale began to unfold. My name is Aya Kaoin and I swore to help the Earth and its wonderful environment. On a bright sunny day, I hopped with Shun, the toad, and Ren, the rabbit. We came across the entrance to Daisetsuzan, and there was a big protest about deforestation. “Here we go again, some humans just won’t stop killing our forest,” said Shun.“I know and my young rabbits can’t even play outside like I used too,” complained Ren. I just stood dumbfounded since I was shocked that anyone would harm this beautiful park.“Why do humans harm us? What did we do?” I asked.“Aya, humans are a wonder because they are so idiotic some times,” Shun mocked, “They don’t have our animal intelligence and physical skills.” Suddenly I heard a big bang, and a tall, dark man stood above everyone else. I sensed a foul aura coming from him.“What do you all want!” shouted the mysterious vile man.“Mr. Loege, please have a heart, this park is everything,” pleaded a bright red haired woman.“Please, don’t kill the land to build a new factory,” said another lady.“I can and I will! Now, you will leave or I will shoot all of you!” screamed Mr. Loege.“Raynar, how is this necessary?” said the man in a suit.“Because I’m more superior,” mocked Raynar and kicked the man in the ground.“You monster, how could you kill your own kind!” I shot up and screamed at the horrid man.“My own kind,” said Raynar as he laughed sinisterly at me, “You called this group of pathetic humans, my kind!”“Look, Mr. Raynar, my name is Aya Kaoin and this is my land. I live with the animals and the animals live with me. No exception,” I said firmly. Then, he looked at me with a puzzled face. However, the puzzled face turned into a very devilish face and his gun aimed straightly at my face.“Stop, Raynar!” shouted a boy’s voice. A boy, roughly my age, shielded me with his body. His hair was flaming red as though fire danced on top of his head. I sensed a strong passion for the environment inside him. “Raynar, don’t harm this girl. She lives with the animals; therefore, entitled to be free like the animals,” he said passionately.“Bah, animals, what rights to they have,” he mocked and chuckled. I heard Ren and Shun’s mad voices when they heard that comment. “Now, I shall spare the girl’s life, but you have to all leave!”With a blink of an eye, everyone quickly hurried back into their big machines and drove off so quickly, it seemed as they vanished into thin air. Raynar Loege smiled the biggest, menacing smile that I have ever saw; even as evil as Kei, the tiger. “Aki or whatever your name is, do you know the Healing Lake of Tohru Sohma?” asked Raynar. Secretly, I knew the lake since it belonged to Goddess Tohru, the one that saves everything. Legend says that the Healing Lake revives animals’ wounds and can make humans immortal and all-powerful. If you go inside the area of the lake, you would die at the first step. That is why my friends and I stay clear of it. Only wounded animals can go, but not wounded humans, as far as I know.“My name is Aya and that silly lake is only fifteen kilometers northwest from here. Are you sure you want to trek that far? Besides, the lake is nothing special anyway; the path is so simple, you only end up disappointing yourself,” I lied. Smart as he is, Raynar saw past my act, and telling me that he shall bring six men with seven rifles. I never showed signs worry to Raynar so that he would change his mind, and I simply said, “It’s your lost to waste all of that green stuff that you always hand out. The more items, the more you have to suffer the cost.”“Don’t worry, I don’t earn money. Money comes to me,” said Raynar and laughed. “Now show me where it is,” forced Raynar with his gun pointed straight at me. Like déjà vu, the fiery haired boy came back to protect me.“Raynar, I told you to stop killing her,” said the boy.“Jinnai, stop distracting me,” said Raynar. Apparently, this Jinnai person might be very closely related to him.“Mom would not be happy about this,” said Jinnai.“Dear Aya, this little brat is my brother, Jinnai,” said Raynar sulking. I was shocked, to think that the two opposites are brothers. I was getting really confused so I ran back into the forest. From a distance, I could here Raynar shouting since his target ran away. The next day, I was frustrated with men scavenging my beautiful Daisetsuzan for the lake; and to my disgust, Raynar was leading the horrible expedition. I had to stop Raynar before he ruins Daisetsuzan, but I am just a mere slug to him. However, I gathered enough courage to face him, and his ten muscular, brutal men. “Raynar, stop killing my Daisetsuzan or face the wrath of Animal Power,” I told him.“If it isn’t Aya Kaoin, we meet again,” said Raynar sneering.“Stop harming my Daisetsuzan. The lake won’t appear magically for you,” I scolded him.“Oh, but you are wrong, I know that you are an enchanted creature. How else could you talk to the animals? It seems that you are the hunted now, Aya, and you shall help me find the lake,” said Raynar as he ordered his thugs to capture me. Everything became dark, I felt like a captured animal stuck in man’s cruel world.Since they bagged me, I had to be carried on their hairy backs. By the end of thirty minutes, I was drowning in their filthy sweat. Suddenly, I felt warm inside and my outer body started to give off a light glow. The goons shook me upside down and I landed face forward into the ground.“Aya, you have guided us into a dead end,” said Raynar angrily. The dark red, cavernous forest made sounds that were abnormal to humans. They sounded as though a poor, innocent animal had been slaughtered. “You said it was safe!” screamed Raynar.“It was… in your dreams,” I mocked Raynar and started dashing into my forest. However, I was caught by one of Raynar’s goons.“Pretty girl, you don’t want your head to be smashed,” laughed the big, bulky idiot. I gulped in fear, but my luck brought in Jinnai.“Why must you always follow me, Jinnai?” questioned Raynar.“Raynar, your scent led me to you,” said Jinnai. Raynar became distracted and sniffed his underarms. Taking the advantage, Jinnai pulled me towards him and we started to dash into the forest. However, tree limbs started grabbing both our feet and dragging us further into the eerie forest. “Don’t worry Aya, you have the power,” said Ren’s famous last words. In the forest of Tohru Sohma, Raynar and his cronies had the word ‘lost’ plastered on their faces. The forest was actually very welcoming to nature lovers like Jinnai and I. However, Raynar and his henchmen were hallucinating as if they were in an eerie, monstrous cave. They despised nature, nature despised them. We had pity on them so we let Raynar and his crew tag along, but they keep shouting off nonsense of monsters attacking them. Not long later, Jinnai and I founded the mythical Healing Lake of Tohru Sohma. The air was so clear that Raynar and his thugs broke off from the spell cast upon them. “I’ve found it!” shouted Raynar in joy.“Raynar, you idiot, Aya and I found it,” said Jinnai giving me a wink. I just giggled silently like the love struck girl I am. “Besides, Goddess Tohru hates you. That’s why you were scared of the forest,” announced Jinnai.“Shut your mouth, Jinnai! Take all you can from the lake,” ordered Raynar as he pushed Jinnai down and knocked him unconscious. It was all up to me now, the shy girl without any confidence. Just then, a ray of light came shinning down towards me.“Aya Kaoin, my little baby girl,” said a calm voice.“My Aya, how I love her so much, it’s me, Mummy,” said the calm voice.“And don’t forget dear Daddy,” said a deep voice.“Mummy, Daddy, is that really you? Why did you leave me on Earth?” I questioned them.“Yes, we are your parents; and you have a job to do Aya, stop him from stealing the lake,” Mummy told me.“I can’t, I am a weakling and was guarded from man’s world” I asked stubbornly.“You can, just believe in yourself, sweetie. Do you want to save Daisetsuzan or let it rot to the ground,” said Daddy strictly.“I swear on my life to protect Daisetsuzan and the creatures that make up the place. Forever, I shall stay and be Goddess Aya, and never let Daisetsuzan wilt,” I said proudly.“Now, with the powers of the Sun and Moon, you are granted the hopes of every animal. May they stay in your heart and mind; and never forget them,” chanted the Sun and Moon in unison. Soon after, powers from every animal surged into my veins. My body became as strong as an ox, while my mind became a swift as a fox. My name is Aya Kaoin, Goddess of Daisetsuzan, and I am ready for the hunt.“Raynar, stop harassing my forest,” I roared. Raynar just laughed and continued to dehydrate the lake. “You leave me no choice,” I warned him and beat the stuffing out of all of his goons. It appears that my powers have been kicked into overdrive. This is more like it!“You want to play rough, eh?” said Raynar and pulled out his rifle and started shooting at me.“Aya, everyone knows that no animal could win against a human weapon,” Raynar said happily. Raynar’s words were true because animals fear guns and I was raised by the animal way. Even my goddess self cannot abolish my fear of guns. Abruptly, Jinnai came to my rescue by shielding me, but the rifle triggered and Jinnai bled as he fell into the ground. “Jinnai, my brother, please do not die,” Raynar pleaded to the sky and scurried to his brother’s side.“You monster, you just killed your own brother,” I cried. Suddenly, I knew what to do, put Jinnai in the lake. “Raynar, promise not to take away the Healing Lake and fight for the good side,” I told him.“I will do anything for Jinnai. Please help me,” said Raynar pleading. Afterward, I carried Jinnai’s body to the lake, and my healing powers chanted the magic words to heal Jinnai. A bright light blinded Raynar and I and the last thing I know, Jinnai was glowing like a god.“Jinnai, you’re alive. I promise to never be wicked again,” Raynar promised. Just to be safe, my powers eradicated his dark aura and sent it to be extinguished.“Aya, thank you,” said Jinnai as he looked at me with his deep, green eyes.“Brother and Aya, I will spread the word of peace and love and abolish my plastic company. Then, my land would be use to make new forests and shelters for animals. Thank you for opening a whole new perspective of my life,” Raynar said gratefully.Jinnai, who has just become God of Daisetsuzan, ruled with me as we try to save the environment. Follow our voices; do not let the hands of the pollution monster get to you. Malevolence towards the ecosystem still flows in the veins of business men, so help save the environment or the environment will exterminate the human race.

Cerocia's Savior
“Welcome to Cerocia,” said a mysterious deep voice.
“W-w-who are y-y-you?” I asked frightened.
“No need for worrying, I am Relarahur, Gate Keeper of Cerocia. I know your mission and you are the legendary Keeper of the Light”
“What Keeper of the Light?”
“A long time ago, many have perished from Kione’s Army because they cause nothing but darkness. Truth be told, Kione rose from people’s hatred, but only the descendent of Aderes, the Protector, can bring him to peace.”
“How do you know that I am the related to Aderes?”
“You hold the birthmark of the harp on your right arm,” said Relarahur. Trying to prove the Gate Keeper wrong, I showed him my right arm. Relarahur smiled a ten-watt smile because the “harp mark” was there. I was rotting away inside, knowing that the prophecy has made me bait. “Since you have to go to Kione Kingdom, I advise you to bring Aereon,” said Relarahur, as he led me to the stables. Like a dog called by his master, Aereon obediently came by swinging down from the rope and flipped towards me.“Relarahur, I see that you brought a friend,” he said in a muscular voice that made me blushed ten shades of red.
“My name is Jazmyn,” I said, while sticking my hand out for a shake. Instead, he acted like a gentleman and kissed my hand. Just then, my head felt light and I fainted. Several hours later, I ended up on the back a horse with its tail whipping my face. “You have woken up fair Jazmyn,” said Aereon as he tossed me the reins of my horse. The smell of the air seemed to get putrid as we travelled further on. As I looked back, Cerocia was still gleaming. However, the roads seemed broken and the ravens perched up the dead trees.
“Where are we?” I asked, still regaining consciousness.
“Luckily for you, Relarahur whipped up a spell that sent us flying high from the Gate of Cerocia to the Border of Kione Kingdom. Now fair Jazmyn, we have to be careful for Kione sent out the Gorons to hunt us down. It seems as though Kione heard that Aderes’s descendent has arrived,” explained Aereon, as a worried looked plastered his face. As we rode in silence, I noticed that Aereon had a fiery red mark on the back of his neck.
I dare not ask but temptation forced me to say, “Aereon, what happened to your neck?”“You mean the red mark? It was from a fight with the Gorons. They may be stupid but they pack a punch,” said Aereon as he shamefully covered him mark with his hand. “Did your mother worry about you?”
“Nope, neither did my father because both of them were killed right in front of my eyes by Kione.”
Suddenly, my horse threw me off guard towards a pile of bushes. Luckily, the bush cushioned my fall, but I felt a chill. As I looked at Aereon, his face turned as white as a ghost. Just then, the bush began to rustle and I was lifted up by a massive demon.
“GORON!” shouted Aereon as he pulled out his sword. I quickly grabbed one of the branches so I will not plummet to the ground. However, my body felt a rush of poison coming from the bush. Helpless, I saw Aereon being clawed by several Gorons as my body stayed paralyzed. Then, everything turned pitch black and the sounds of ravens cackling filled the air. When I opened my eyes, Kione stared me down as though I was the prey, while he was the predator.
“So this is the new Light? This pathetic piece of garbage!” shouted Kione as he slapped me across my face. The fumes of hate and anger made me dizzy but I stayed conscious.“Never lay a finger on her!” yelled Aereon with scars all over his body. Kione just laughed, while his tail swished from left to right. Then, the tail wrapped itself around me just like an anaconda and squeezed the life out of me. My mind raced back from when my mother hugged me, the hug that sent a gush of love to my body. Reacting to the love, Kione’s spiteful tail recoils back to his pitiful body.
“You stupid girl, what did you do?” Kione asked as he kissed his tail.
“I remembered love and delight,” I told him with a grin.“Well, your happiness can never outwit my darkness!” said Kione as he unleashed Gorons from every corner of the room. To make matters worse, Aereon was still weak so Kione whisked him away. I was helpless to do anything so I curled myself up into a ball. With a stroke of luck, Aderes appeared before my eyes.
“Never let darkness win, remember that Cerocia needs your strength. Suck it up or I will come down from Heaven and personally deliver a butt-kicking for you.” I never knew protectors were so uptight but Aderes gave me courage to keep fighting.
“Jazmyn, I will transfer my strength to you but you have to give off your unique power of happiness,” said Aderes while I nodded obediently. A surge of love, joy, and power filled my body and I transformed completely. Aderes’s power gave me white wings that spread out as long as an elephant’s trunk. My eyes turned from hollow black to hopeful green, while my arms gained the strength of ten giants. Right then, I know that I am ready to save the world. Several Gorons came hurtling towards me so I leaped into the air and the Gorons crashed into each other. As moronic as they are, the Gorons persevered and kept fighting for their devious leader. One Goron tried to punch me, but I grabbed his fist and threw him over my back.
“This is just too easy,” I told them with a snort and charged all my energy for the “Angel Thruster”. With just one blow, I killed all the Gorons brutally and sounds of screeching filled the air. “Jazmyn!” shouted Aereon with fear as I flew upwards at high speed. As I reached the roof of Kione’s castle, I found that half of the kingdom fell to ruins from my “Angel Thruster”.
“You idiot, you killed my empire!” shouted Kione in rage.“It is your fault for ruining Cerocia in the first place!” I exclaimed and shot him with my “Aurora Ray”. As slick as he is, Kione stopped it with a magical shield and it ricochet back to me.
“It seems Little Light got herself some new powers!” Kione cried out and blasted an energy beam at me.
“Jazmyn, I believe that you could defeat me but believing is only for Cerocians,” he said as the beam sent me hurtling towards the brick wall. Underneath the cold rubble, my mind remembered the moments that I cherished with the people I have loved. With those memories, I formed a sword capable of killing Kione. At full speed, I darted at Kione but he would not dodge my attack. Without hesitation, I thrust the sword into Kione’s heart.
“You see Kione; you can never win against the powers of good!” I said beaming. “Oh really Little Light, then take a good look behind,” said Kione with his last breath. I turned my head back and Aereon was pointing his sword at me.
“Aereon, what are you doing?” I asked, confused.
“You killed my master,” said Aereon, fuming with anger. I was dazed because I had no idea why Aereon is acting like a maniac. However, I sensed Aereon had been controlled by the fiery mark behind his neck.
“Jazmyn, master told me to kill you and I shall,” said Aereon sinisterly.Backing away, I reached the edge of the castle wall. Slowly, my powers faded away since I have used up all of it to defeat Kione. Now I knew that Kione had passed his soul into Aereon’s heart thus making Aereon abolish me. Staring into Aereon’s empty eyes, my body felt fatigue as my wings faded away. As he moved closer, Aereon brandished his sword and I stood motionless. Out of impulse, I quickly gave him a kiss to block off Kione’s darkness. Luckily for me, his eyes turned back to ash brown, and his expression spoke of love. Aereon dropped his sword and returned the favour by hugging me tightly. As the dark kingdom began to see the light, all of Cerocia could smile once again. Back at Cerocia, a flood of cheers drowned Aereon and I as we entered with wounds of heroism. Trees and flowers began to blossom colours of the rainbow.
“Cerocia glimmers as it sees your face,” Aereon whispered romantically in my ear. I just smiled at him, love struck by his affectionate personality. “Heroes of Cerocia, I give you the respect of Aderes and the blessing of a fine wedding!” boomed Relarahur as the crowd cheered louder. Both Aereon and I were startled but all Relarahur said was, “As love fills the air, Cerocia can never see darkness again.” However, I keep wondering that Kione still lives to seek revenge.
